White water grade II kayaking in wales, build on control and increase confidence.
This day will improve on your kayaking skills and strokes to make the most
out of a grade II river trip. An ideal river run! improving your grade II river
reading skills and ability to move around the river. We use 5 different sections
of the river Wye and Usk, depending on water levels and group ability. There
will be on average 10 grade II rapids on the trip with wave trains and some
surfing waves.
The day begins with a breifing on the day ahead and skills to be covered. A
chance to let us know what you would like to achieve and work on. The trip will
focus on the strokes and techinques required to safely control your kayak during
the journey, enjoying the river features and gaining more confidence on the
river.. The trip will help you identify river features. Short training sessions
are spread over the course of the river trip to recap on skills and boat control.
